PULSE OUT
Manhattan Beach, CA is kind of perfect.Especially that spot that serves Spam sushi roles, and Hawaiian style breakfast bowls. Such a magical place has produced a band that combines surf sensibilities with some southern California punk, and the vocal hooks of a manic frank black. Maybe we can call it psychedelic surf punk? Think about the music you'd want to listen to as you quit your job, picked up a couple close friends and headed out on a surf trip with no concrete destination, and you may begin to understand Pulse Out.

SLEEPWALL
Some called it post-hardcore, others likened it to the sound that permeated rock in the 90s. I just thought they were great songs that needed to be heard.
Each copy of the EP comes with a 6 page photozine created by RIPE + Sleepwall singer Kevin Faulkner.
BLONDE ACID CULT
The 1st RIPE release was an EP for a group of friends from New York. They had one of the most infectious live shows I've seen. And I was really psyched to get to do an EP for them. Rory Phillips of London Trash and Our Disco fame in London did a remix on the B-side.
There's still a few copies left kicking around.
